Mike McDaniel, Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins keep on rolling in 35-32 Win Over the Bears to Improve to 6-3

In a week nine battle between two teams with heavily criticized quarterbacks, the Miami Dolphins, and Chicago Bears gave us one of the best games of the NFL season.

The Dolphins offense, led by Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill, exploded, while the Bears offense also shined due to Justin Fields’s outstanding performance. With that said, the Dolphins came out on top with a 35-32 victory to improve to 6-3 on the season.

Tagovailoa and Hill once again had historic outings as Tagovailoa became the first quarterback in Miami Dolphins history to throw for 300 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions; At the same time, Hill surpassed Calvin Johnson for the most receiving yards in the first nine games of a season in NFL history.

Hill finished the contest with seven receptions for 143 yards and a touchdown from Tagovailoa; Tagovailoa had two more touchdowns in the game as well as throwing for 302 yards; the two other touchdowns went to superstar wideout Jaylen Waddle and newly-acquired running back Jeff Wilson Jr.; Wilson Jr. had a tremendous Dolphins debut as he finished the game with 72 total yards of offense along with the touchdown. Something of note is that Wilson Jr.’s extra effort led him to score.

As for Chicago, quarterback Justin Fields had a terrific day as he made history by passing Michael Vick for the most rushing yards in a game for a quarterback in NFL history as he finished the slugfest with 178 yards on the ground.

Fields showed his mobility, and it worked, but with that said, the Bears must improve their passing offense by getting their quarterback more weapons because history has proven that run-first quarterbacks do not have long-term careers in the NFL.

When looking back at this game, a critical moment occurred in the second quarter when Dolphins star pass rusher Jaelan Phillips blocked a punt that would be recovered by fellow pass rusher Andrew Van Ginkel and taken to the house for a Dolphins score.

All in all, good teams find a way to win, and that was the case for Miami in this one as the Dolphins defense rose to the occasion when needed most by stopping the high-powered Chicago offense in their last two possessions of the game to secure the W.

The Dolphins will look to add another win in week ten as they play host to Jacoby Brissett and the Cleveland Browns.

As for the Bears, they will look to bounce back in week ten as they play host to division rivals, the Detroit Lions.
