New Music Friday (Country Edition): Morgan Wallen and Post Malone Release New Collaboration “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” – April 18, 2025

Our favorite duo team is back! Morgan Wallen and Post Malone have released another one of their collaborations today (April 18) ahead of Wallen’s forthcoming release. Written with ERNEST, HARDY, Charlie Handsome and Louis Bell, “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” is uptempo, fused with both acoustic and steel guitar, and sees the pair confessing they will not be returning to that ill-fated relationship.

Big Loud’s CEO Seth England confirmed that Wallen and Post wrote seven songs together during their first write, but it’s unsure whether or not they wrote this song then. However, Malone told Theo Von in September of 2024 during a guest appearance on This Past Weekend podcast about a secret second collaboration.

Wallen recently announced that he will be releasing a 37-track album, I’m The Problem, later this year featuring collaborations with Eric Church, Tate McRae, and more. The album will house previously released singles, “I’m The Problem” and “I’m A Little Crazy.”

Wallen says of the album, “A lot of the concepts and things we said were a little more difficult with this album. We were trying to dig deep on things and trying to find new angles. And I feel like we did that. I feel like there’s a lot of stuff that I haven’t said in this record, which I’m really, really proud of.”
