Another week means another New Music Friday! SO MANY of our favorite artists dropped new songs today and we aren’t lying when we say that they’re all bops and no skips.
Does today really exist if we didn’t acknowledge Taylor Swift and Maren Morris’ amazing duet that came out “from the vault” at midnight?
Ultimately topping our New Music Friday list for today (and maybe everyday tbh), Swift and Morris’ melancholy track “You All Over Me” is instantly a chart-topping hit. To go along with the gentle acoustic guitar, the girls deliver a storyline about a devastating breakup and the challenge of rediscovering independence within oneself. The single is produced by Aaron Dessner, who recently collaborated with Swift on her LPs Folklore and Evermore has put everyone in their feels.
