Netflix has put together a stellar cast for an upcoming mini-series as Nicole Kidman, Dakota Fanning, and Meghann Fahy are set to star in The Perfect Couple. The six-episode series is set to premiere on the streaming giant soon.

The Perfect Couple will be about a dead body found in Nantucket Harbor just hours before the Odis-Winbury wedding. Rather than a joyous wedding ceremony, Chief of Police Ed Kapenash is in charge of interviewing individuals, including the bride, the groom, the groom’s mother, and more, as possible murder suspects. The series will be executively produced and directed by Emmy award winner Susanne Bier. Bier is known for many projects, including Showtime’s The First Lady and the Sandra Bullock starring Netflix film Bird Box.
As for Kidman, she is one of the most famous and beloved actresses on the planet, with legendary roles in Moulin Rouge!, Big Little Lies, and Just Go With It, to name a few. While Fanning rose to fame in the 2006 classic Charlotte’s Web, she is also known for her roles in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and Uptown Girls alongside the late-great Brittany Murphy. As for Fahy, before gaining significant popularity as an integral part of season two of HBO’s The White Lotus, she was able to build a huge fan base through her starring role as Sutton Brady in The Bold Type.
All in all, with this award-winning cast and director, The Perfect Couple is set to be the next big thing for Netflix.
