Patrick Mahomes added another game-winning drive to his resume as the all-pro quarterback connected with all-pro tight end Travis Kelce on a 17-yard pass to secure the 30-27 win for the Chiefs against the Chargers while at the same time securing the third touchdown connection of the night for the legendary quarterback tight end duo on Sunday Night Football.

Mahomes finished the week eleven contest with 329 yards, along with the three touchdown passes to Kelce; as for Kelce, aside from the three touchdowns, he finished with six receptions for 115 yards. Rookie running back Isiah Pacheco also contributed significantly for the Chiefs as the youngster ran fifteen times for 107 yards.
Heading into the fourth quarter in this one, the Chargers held a 20-16 lead, but when it mattered most, Los Angeles did not come through as they were outscored 14-7 in the fourth and, of course, would end up losing the division showdown. Justin Herbert finished the game with 280 yards along with two touchdowns and the game-clinching interception in the fourth quarter caught by Chiefs second-year star linebacker Nick Bolton; Bolton also added a game-high ten tackles in the game.

Some other standouts on the defense for Kansas City were superstar defensive lineman Chris Jones and third-year defensive end Mike Danna; Jones and Danna each finished the win with two sacks.
Something of note, a legendary moment occurred between Mahomes and legendary actor Henry Winkler as Winkler attended the game because he is a huge fan of the Chiefs QB.
