Caroline Romano has really grown up since we introduced you to her in 2017.
Now 18-years-old, the budding songstress has an impressive resume under her belt, including her single “Masterpiece” with Jacob Whitesides and performances with musicians like Shawn Mendes, Why Don’t We, Daya, and more. She also has over 1.5 million streams on Spotify!
Currently, the Mississippi native has a new single out called “Stream of Consciousness,” which is now spinning on Radio Disney. The upbeat, brutally honest pop song is fitting for girls of all ages, and is totally worthy of being an addition to your motivational playlist.

Celeb Secrets: How has your music changed since the last time we chatted in 2017?
Caroline Romano: “I think the biggest way my music has changed in the past two years is the fact that I’m releasing songs that are far more personal and vulnerable than those I would have released in the past. I’ve learned that it’s necessary to completely abandon everyone else’s ideas about the kind of music I should be writing, as well as what is acceptable to release. I’m also continuing to learn just what “my sound” is with each new song I write. It’s all a process, and I’m really excited to see what my music will be like two years from now!”
Celeb Secrets: What artists inspire your sound?
Caroline Romano: “I’m getting a lot of inspiration from artists such as Taylor Swift, Halsey, Lorde, Yungblud, AJR, Ed Sheeran, and Alec Benjamin at the moment. It really varies from time to time based on who I’m listening to, which I think helps me in the long run!”
Celeb Secrets: What is something that your fans would be surprised to know about you?
Caroline Romano: “I think people may be surprised to know that I’m a very shy, quiet, and reserved person in everyday life. Day-to-day things can be really challenging and nerve-wracking for me, especially when it comes to kids my own age, but singing on a stage in front of thousands of people is my idea of peace of mind. I’m the polar opposite – totally outgoing and bubbly – when I’m doing anything music-related.
Celeb Secrets: Is there new music coming out on the horizon?
Caroline Romano: “There will be lots of new music coming out really soon! I’ve got something I’m very excited about coming out right after “The Dark Side of Seventeen.” I’ve been working really hard on creating a collection of songs I’m really proud of, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear them.
