SEVENTEEN‘s Minghao, better known as The 8, just made an exciting announcement!
The vocalist, rapper, and lead dancer is dropping a digital single album, Side By Side, on April 13th.
This is the third solo to come from a member of the K-pop group this year. The first solo came from Jun back in February with his single, “Silent Boarding Gate,” and following a little over a month after, member Hoshi released his single “Spider,” which we featured on our K-NMF last week!
Pledis has yet to reveal any video teasers for Side By Side, but the teaser photo has Carats already excited and filled with anticipation. The teaser photo features The 8 posed in sultry lighting in front of a convertible Porsche.
Carats are predicting to expect solos from each member throughout the rest of this year. They’re even theorizing which members will be next! Some seem to be connecting the dots, predicting that they’ll be going by units, therefore Dino will be the next member to drop a solo after.
