You may recognize Sissy Sheridan as Angie in Brat’s hit series Chicken Girls, however, the 15-year-old is more than just an actress.
The Washington, D.C. native has a budding music career too, with her cover of Hailee Steinfeld’s “Most Girls” racking in over 130K views and counting on her YouTube Channel!
“After being on ‘Chicken Girls,’ I realized kids were posting covers with music videos and their original songs, so I went and did my first my cover for ‘Most Girls’ with a bunch of my friends and it was so much fun,” Sissy tells Celeb Secrets.
Following “Most Girls,” Sheridan jumped into the recording studio to release an original song titled “who me?” through Brat Records, and fans have been going absolutely bonkers over it.
“When I was thinking about song ideas, I wanted [the song] to be something that kids could hear on the radio,” Sissy says. “[The song] is basically about how you are talking to guys online and you don’t know if they are real or not. You find out that they are trying to play you so you play the player. When they try and bring it back you’re like, ‘who me?'”
“I wanted to put in popular phrases like ‘leave him on read,’ and ‘slide into DMs,’ so I wanted to put in popular phrases and things that were really personal to me,” she continues.
Sissy won’t be saying goodbye to acting anytime soon, as she teased her character Angie may show up on not only upcoming episodes of Chicken Girls, but other shows on Brat’s YouTube channel.
