Celeb Secrets: Hi SM6! Thank you for chatting with us in the middle of your tour. How has your tour been so far?
SM6: “Unbelievable! Words can’t describe how we feel. Our only regret is that we couldn’t get on the road sooner.”
CS: So far, do you have a favorite venue or location that you’ve performed at?
SM6: “We don’t want to name favorites… But Chicago had the craziest energy! Not being biased or anything cause it’s our hometown (laughs).”
CS: What has been the best part of the tour so far? What has been the most challenging?
SM6: “The best part is getting to FINALLY meet all of our fans face to face, and the most challenging thing so far is our van breaking down multiple times. She’ll pull through though… hopefully hahaha.
CS: Who takes the longest to get ready for a show and why?
SM6: “OMG ELLIE!!! You put Ellie in front of a mirror to do makeup/hair and time seems to warp. She lives in her own space and time I swear.”
CS: Do you have any pre-show rituals that you do before each show?
SM6: “Not too much. We do a hands in countdown and whisper yell ‘eff yeah!’ cause we’re backstage and can’t actually yell.”
CS: What are each of your must have items on tour?
SM6: “Instruments and a good attitude! Just kidding (laughs)! Personally, [Jack] must have a Wii remote and a bag of chips. Adam and [Emily] have to have our headphones. Ellie wants to bring EVERYTHING, so we have to limit her. [George] always bring a journal, and [Isabel] bring my jean jacket everywhere!
CS: Do you have any behind-the-scenes secrets you can share from the tour?
SM6: “When we have coffee while setting up at the venue is such a special moment… it’s almost like Christmas morning. It’s the quiet before everything gets loud and crazy!!”
