Team USA’s Women’s Track & Field Team Are Racking Up the Medals in Tokyo and We’re Here For It

The United States’ Women’s Track & Field team came to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with a mega-talented lineup of athletes, so to say that the expectations were high for this year’s games is an absolute understatement.

With a roster of 329 women, the ladies of Team USA have managed to snag medals in sprints, hurdles, long distance, and field events these past two weeks, all while breaking world, Olympic and personal records.

Just like they did at the Olympic Trials, athletes like Sydney McLaughlin, Dalilah Muhammad, Athing Mu, Gabby Thomas, and Allyson Felix are leaving Tokyo with medals around their necks and news records to beat, as each athlete pushed themselves to their best ability to continue the progression of the already difficult sport.

Celeb Secrets has been keeping an eye on Team USA all week, and we rounded up some of the best moments from each event in the gallery below. Don’t forget to click through to see them and share your thoughts by leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics air every day on NBC until Sunday, August 8th. For the most up-to-date coverage on the Olympics, click here.
