‘The Bachelorette’ Season 19 Episode 4: The Men Fight for Gabby and Rachel’s Love

(ABC/Craig Sjodin) The Bachelorette

Rachel’s One-on-One Time with Tino; Hayden Receives Backlash for Harsh Comments

Host Jesse Palmer informs the men that they will soon pack their bags for dates Parisian style with the bachelorettes. The clincher?

Two men will be headed to the city of love earlier than the rest to spend intimate time with Gabby and Rachel. Jason, team Gabby, and Tino, team Rachel are then told they are the chosen two and quickly anticipate having dates with the women one-on-one.

Amid Parisian excitement, Hayden expresses his frustration after receiving backlash, describing Gabby as “rough around the edges.” Hayden also confesses his confusion as to how any of the men think that this is the opportunity to find their wife. As James (Meatball) hears Hayden’s thoughts, he’s left having a change of heart about Hayden, disagreeing with his harsh choice of words.

After being rejected in episode three and trying to remain in hopeful spirits, Rachel has a fairytale-like date with Tino. During their time together, they enjoyed romantic moments kissing in the rain, eating chocolate-covered strawberries, and sharing one-on-one time as they discussed what they want for their future as a couple.

After having a romantic time with Tino, Rachel is left feeling reassured about her role as a bachelorette. Meanwhile, Gabby and Jason enjoy trying on berets, a kiss on a carousel, and an intimate conversation over dinner, discussing childhood traumas and therapy as Jason breaks out of his shell, a desire Gabby wanted.
