The Best Moments in Disney+’s “WandaVision” Before It’s Epic Finale This Friday

After an intense and suspenseful eight weeks, the first installment of the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to an end. Disney+’s series, WandaVision, ends this Friday, March 5th, and fans will be receiving all the answers to their endless questions…or will they?

If you have been keeping up with this series every week just like us, you’ll know just how much of a ride it has been for one of our favorite Marvel superheroes.  Each week, we all came up with theories, trying to figure out what’s been going on, only to have them be debunked as Marvel sends us through different and unexpecting plot twists which keep us watching every week.

As we anticipate the finale of the series, let’s look back at some of the best moments that have happened so far. Obviously, we’re going to be covering some major spoilers, so if you haven’t watched yet, turn back now!

WandaVision TV Show Intros

As we traveled through decades of television (that we now know was created based on Wanda’s subconscious love for TV sitcoms), we saw plenty of TV show intros with catchy theme songs that reminded us of our favorite shows! Seeing Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) live these mundane lives in each television universe makes us feel like we’ve lived through all these moments with the pair too.

Monica Rambeau Becoming Superhero, Photon!

In an incredible scene in episode 7, we see Captain Monica Rambeau, played by Teyonah Parris, become Marvel comics superhero, Photon. The visual of Rambeau’s past, present, and future self splitting up and forming as one, back together, as she pushed her way through Wanda’s shield to get into Westview was a sight that made viewers everywhere gasp in excitement. Without a doubt, this would’ve definitely been a moment that would make Marvel fans cheer if it was viewed in theaters.

Any Scene with Jimmy Woo…To Be Honest.

WandaVision has been on everyone’s minds since the release, but theories and main storyline aside, there is one character that social media has grown attached to and has found an infinite love for. Making his Marvel debut in Ant-Man & The Wasp, Agent Jimmy Woo, played by Randall Park, captured the hearts of many in WandaVision. Fans took to social media to express their love for the character, which has potentially lead Jimmy Woo to have his very own TV show! His impressive card tricks and his heartwarming personality are definitely some highlight moments of the series.

They… Recast Pietro?!

Before the release of WandaVision, there were already rumors flying of Wanda’s deceased brother, Pietro Maximoff, somehow making a cameo in the series, and yet when the moment happened we were all still blown away! Amidst the rumors were fans trying to figure out if Aaron Taylor-Johnson was going to reprise his role as MCU’s Pietro or if Marvel was going to give us a first introduction into the multiverse and bring in X-Men universe’s Pietro, played by Evan Peters, and they got their answers at the end of the fifth episode. A thrilling moment for Marvel superfans everywhere!

Billy and Tommy Becoming Wiccan and Speed

Any Marvel comics enthusiast could’ve probably seen this moment coming, but it doesn’t make it any less exciting! After Wanda gave birth to Billy and Tommy back in episode three, we were given clues throughout the episodes that indicate that Billy and Tommy are not your ordinary kids. It’s not until the Halloween episode that the kids discover their unique powers and it happens in the best way. In the episode, Billy and Tommy are dressed as their future superhero selves as seen in the comics and discover their powers when they’re trick-or-treating. Tommy discovers his super-speed when getting candy and Billy discovers his when he realizes his father, Vision, is in trouble. A great moment in the series, indeed!

Easter-Egg Filled Commercials

After the first two episodes premiered back in January, we had a feeling that these commercials were going to have some importance to the storyline! If you’re a huge Marvel fan like us, you probably noticed the MCU references mentioned in each of the commercials that played during Wanda’s shows. We’re still trying to figure out the connection between the last few commercials, but fans have come to the conclusion that each of these commercials represents a turning point in Wanda’s life. The commercials have enhanced the entire experience of the series, which makes it one of the best moments on our list!

The Reveal That It Was Agatha All Along… and She Killed Sparky Too!

We all had our theories like the Marvel enthusiasts we are, so while the reveal of Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, didn’t come as too much of a surprise, the way it was executed makes it the best moment for us. The chilling, suspenseful silence as Wanda discovers Agatha’s lair which leads to Agatha’s own TV show intro with the extremely catchy tune of “Agatha All Along” made the reveal so exciting that even if you knew it was coming, you still didn’t know what was coming.

You can absolutely bet that we’ll be glued to Disney+ right at Midnight on Friday for the final episode. All the episodes so far have had a running time of 30 minutes, but there have been rumors floating around that the final episode will be 50 minutes long, the longest WandaVision episode of the entire series! With all the twists and turns they’ve taken with us so far, who knows where the final episode will take us?
