The Dallas Cowboys Sign Pro-Bowl Wide Out T.Y. Hilton

The Dallas Cowboys have added another weapon to their elite offense by signing Colts legend and 2016 NFL receiving yards leader T.Y. Hilton.

Hilton joins Dallas after some thought he might retire due to his recent injury history.

By adding Hilton, the Cowboys not only have another weapon to work with, but they also strengthen their wide receivers room as CeeDee Lamb has had a star-studded season, but fellow wideout, Michael Gallup, has struggled to play consistently. With that said, throwing in a guy like Hilton can open up the field for Gallup to have more opportunities and allow Lamb to contribute even more than he already has.

As for Hilton, with recent injury concerns, many thought he would never play another down of football, as previously stated. However, it seems as if Hilton has continued to work out and stay in the best football shape possible and will now have the opportunity to compete on one of the best teams in the NFL.

Throughout his time with the Colts, he contributed significantly, including some terrific playoff performances with his former partner in crime, Andrew Luck. Unfortunately for Hilton and the Colts, no Super Bowl was won during his time in Indianapolis, so Hilton now has a chance to compete for a ring and possibly sail into the sunset as a Super Bowl champion.

The Cowboys currently sit at 10-3 on the year after a 27-23 last-minute victory over the Texans in week fourteen. Hilton will likely make his Cowboys debut on Sunday, December 18, in his home state of Florida as Dallas travels to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars.
