Olivia Rodrigo Takes Home One of the Night’s Top Honors
Before the night ended, pop-punk singer Avril Lavigne took the stage to present the award for Female Artist of the Year to Olivia Rodrigo. Lavigne is no stranger to breaking onto the scene at a young age, which is why she was the perfect person to present it to Rodrigo.
Rodrigo has been absolutely killing it in the music world. After releasing “Drivers License” and her debut album SOUR, the teen seemingly has created hit after hit and it doesn’t seem like she’s going anywhere.
Rodrigo took the stage in a beautiful purple mini dress and long black boots. She quickly thanked Lavigne for taking the time to present her with the award and said, “I truly can’t believe I get to do this for my job and it’s all because of you guys, so thank you so much!”
