Lil Nas X Tells People to be Delusional in Acceptance Speech
Lil Nas X is truly a one-of-a-kind artist! “Old Town Road” may have catapulted the singer to success, but it was his constant hits that allowed him to stay at the top. His album MONTERO houses award-winning hits like “Call Me By Your Name” and “Industry Baby” which features rapper Jack Harlow.
For all these reasons and more, the rapper and singer was presented with one of the top prizes of the night at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Lil Nas X took the stage, in an all-black ensemble, to accept his award for Best Male Artist. In his acceptance speech, Nas said he came across a TikTok saying that you should be delusional.He took it to heart and said that it was because he was delusional he released his songs. The singer ended the speech encouraging everyone to be a little delusional and follow their dreams.
