Aaron Judge has added even more to his legendary career by becoming the first American League player in Major League Baseball history to hit 62 home runs in a single season. Judge accomplished the feat during his first at-bat in Tuesday night’s game against the Texas Rangers on October 4th.

The countdown to 62 had been non-stop talked about in the sports world, not amongst just Yankee fans but all baseball fans in general, and boom, he finally did it. What an incredible season this has been for Judge already, especially heading into free agency; we may see Judge receive a record contract with what he has shown not only this season but throughout his career.
With this now over, the main focus for the Yankees and their fans will be on bringing another pennant back to the Bronx as the postseason starts in just a couple of days, and the Yanks have high expectations surrounding themselves. They are going in as the American League East division champs.
Now more nervousness and speculation will continue to surround Judge’s potential departure from the squad in the offseason if the Yankees aren’t willing to give Judge what he wants. However, if the Yankees win the World Series, they may feel more tempted to provide Judge with what he wants. If this truly is his final season in the pinstripes, he has made it very memorable for the fans and the entire New York Yankees organization.
