Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion and Parker McCollum + Brittney Spencer Added to CMT Awards Performer Lineup

More of our favorite Country artists are heading to the Lone Star State for the CMT Music Awards!

Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion and Parker McCollum + Brittney Spencer have been added to the must-see performer lineup for the 2024 CMT Music Awards, joining previously announced Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Jordan Davis, Keith Urban, host Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, NEEDTOBREATHE, Sam Hunt, and June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award honoree Trisha Yearwood.

According to the network, 3x CMTMA award winner Cody Johnson will let his home state pride shine when he returns LIVE from Austin for an electrifying, world premiere performance of “That’s Texas” off his latest album Leather; “Breakthrough Female Video of the Year” winner Megan Moroney will make her CMT main stage debut with a televised world premiere performance of record-setting hit “No Caller ID” and a second appearance alongside Old Dominion for their chart-rising collaboration “Can’t Break Up Now;” and multi-platinum singer-songwriter and 2022 “Breakthrough Video of the Year” winner Parker McCollum teams up with power vocalist Brittney Spencer for a first-ever collaboration on smoldering chart-topper “Burn It Down,” marking Spencer’s first CMT main stage appearance.

Just recently, it was revealed that Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson and Megan Moroney lead the pack with three nominations each, making it truly a night to remember. In addition, MT is recognizing 14 first-time nominees spanning breakthrough artists to out-of-genre superstars with Amber Riley, Ashley Cooke, Bret Michaels, Chayce Beckham, Hozier, Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., Tyler Childers, Warren ZeidersZach Bryan and four 2024 CMT Next Women of Country members Anne Wilson, Ella Langley, The Castellows and Tigirlily Gold (2x), who are all up for their first ever awards. For the night’s most-coveted category, “Video of the Year,” 16 acts ranging from fresh talent to established names will compete in the first round of voting, including Jelly Roll, Jordan Davis and Parmalee who all make first-time appearances in the category, as well as Kane Brown, who will vie for back-to-back titles, this year with Mickey Guyton.
