While known for her singing ability in her music career, Parton is also an incredible songwriter, as she has even written some of her classic songs, such as “Jolene” and “Coat of Many Colors.”

Aside from being an iconic singer-songwriter, Parton has also ventured into the acting world as her most known role is playing Doralee Rhodes in the 1980s classic 9 to 5.

Parton will use her acting skills again in Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas. The film is about the behind-the-scenes making of a network TV special as Parton, who is playing herself in the movie, comes up with the idea of hosting a Christmas special at her amusement park, Dollywood.
