Less than two months after his first career loss against Tommy Fury, Jake Paul has announced his next opponent as he will be facing off against UFC great Nate Diaz; Paul and Diaz will go toe to toe in a boxing match in Dallas on August 5.

Paul currently has a 6-1 record in his boxing career, including two victories over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley and another win against UFC all-time great Anderson Silva; therefore, Paul has much experience against UFC fighters, so facing Diaz will add to that lineage of opponents for the 26-year-old Ohio born sensation.
As for Diaz, this will be the MMA pro’s debut as a boxer. Diaz is 22-13 in his UFC career, with five wins by knockout.
Paul called out Diaz after his victory over Anderson Silva, and now, it seems both parties agreed to make the fight happen. Something of note, Diaz recently spoke out about leaving the UFC due to the lack of monetary earnings for each fight, which his opponent for this upcoming bout has also addressed; Paul has been a tremendous advocate for fighters to earn more money by also calling out UFC headman Dana White.
