A fight two years in the making finally occurred on Sunday, Feb. 26, as Tommy Fury defeated Jake Paul live from Saudi Arabia. Fury improves to 9-0 in his boxing career, while Paul falls to 6-1.
From round one to the eighth and final round of this boxing match between these young stars, Fury was the man in control as he was able to land more power punches on Paul. This was the first time in Paul’s career that he was truly outmatched from beginning to end, as the 26-year-old Puerto Rico resident could not keep up with Fury consistently.
Throughout the fight, Paul would often wrap up Fury after the Manchester-born stud would land multiple punches. This tactic was unsuccessful for Paul, as it showed he was not on the same level as Fury throughout the bout. However, Paul was able to fight until the very end – including landing the only knockdown of the fight in its final round.

Fury picks up his first victory since becoming a father, after his girlfriend Molly Mae recently gave birth to a baby girl named Bambi. Following the win, Fury dedicated the fight to Molly and Bambi.

Fury and Molly met on the super popular reality dating show, Love Island in 2019 and have been together since leaving the show as a couple.
Moments after the fight, Molly’s sister Zoe Hague took to social media to show Molly’s reaction to her partner defeating Paul.

After the fight, Paul was interviewed in the ring and said he wanted a rematch with Fury after he had a clause in his contract that if he was defeated, he had the option to call for a rematch; so now begins the anticipating for the sequel in this matchup between these boxers.
