L.A.’s latest entertainment destination, The Hill | Los Angeles, is decking the halls — or might we say Hollywood Hills — for a month-long holiday celebration that is guaranteed to bring joy and cheer to the entire family.
Holidays on The Hill, which kicked off last Thursday (December 6), is nestled inside the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City and features a variety of themed activities and vendors inspired by Bryant Park’s Winter Village in New York.
Celeb Secrets had the opportunity to stop by the enchanting holiday jamboree before it opened to the pubic last week, and from the moment we arrived, we were transported into a dreamy wonderland — in the middle of sunny Los Angeles!
Completely transforming the hotel’s former pool area, we were greeted by a jolly juggler who showed off his mind-blowing tricks while incorporating us into his extensive routine. We then walked through the outdoor market, which featured one-of-a-kind gifts available for purchase, fun games, a magician, and craft station where guests are able to create their own holiday jewelry, ornaments and more.
We then made our way to a stunning display of delectable treats that are made-to-order by the hotel’s top chef. Putting a holiday twist on the most iconic sweets, some of our favs off the menu include a bananas foster and an egg-nog cream-filled churro wrapped in applewood smoked bacon. We highly suggest coming hungry when visiting Holidays on The Hill, as you’ll want to try everything the menu has to offer.
The Hill | Los Angeles matched its over-the-top quality food with its drinks, as themed cocktails and mocktails featured premium ingredients and spirits, including mixers from premium beverage brand Fever-Tree.
To wrap up the fun-filled morning, we headed inside to Santa’s workshop for a special meet and greet with the big man in red along with some of his elves. Our time with Mr. Claus and the festive location inside the hotel’s Club Patio truly encapsulated the spirit of Christmas, giving us all the nostalgia of what it was like to experience the holidays with our loved ones when visiting Santa.
In addition to the outdoor village, guests can also make reservations FIVE on The Hill’s, Jingle Bell Tavern for a seasonal menu and pop-up bar that features the restaurant’s favorite dishes with a dash of holiday flavoring.
