Happy New Music Friday! Another week down means more new music from our fav artists.
Today (May 17), Billie Eilish unveils her third studio album Hit Me Hard and Soft, which was produced and co-written by no other than her brother and longtime collaborator Finneas.
The singer shared, “dude ‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT’ my third album is f-ing out now i don’t even know what to SAAYY… Finneas and i put so much into this album and have never ever ever loved something more. we hope you enjoy it and i’ll see you on the other side EEEEEEEEEEEEEK HMHAS OUT NOW EVERYWHERE LOVE YOU ALL TO DEAAAAATH!!!!.” ”
In addition, ZAYN made his way back into the music scene with his new record, ROOM UNDER THE STAIRS, marking the artist’s 4th solo studio album.
The former One Direction band member combats emotional authenticity, identity and more through adept lyricism and instrumentation in ROOM UNDER THE STARS, which he commented on in a statement by saying, “This is my favorite album that I’ve made to date, mainly because it comes from a place of sheer honesty and vulnerability. I wanted each song to feel as if it was just me sitting beside you telling you how I feel, singing directly to you. It’s raw and stripped back and the type of music I always hoped to make. I think just being where I was at that time, staying away from things and living with my own thoughts and inspired me to want to write something from that place. I’ve got to put this out as a whole body of work, it’s something for myself, not even just for the world.”
