Potterheads need to get their wands and brooms ready for Wizarding World as Warner Brothers just released the trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
The new clip from third installment of the J.K. Rowling-written series is action-packed and filled with the magic that fans know and love. The movie focuses on younger Dumbledore played by actor, Jude Law, while introducing new actor, Mads Mikkelsen, who will be replacing Johnny Depp in the role of Gellert Grindelwald.
Mikkelsen’s villainous character, Grindelwald, plans to take over the Wizarding World. With his dislike of Muggles, wizards that don’t have a magical family, it is clear he needs to be stopped. The sneak peek into the movie shows younger Dumbledore and Grindelwald meeting together to try and discuss and solve the differences the two share. When Grindelwald says, “There is nothing you can do to stop me,” it is clear he isn’t going to let anyone or anything get in his way.
This doesn’t stop Dumbledore from trying, and in the trailer, we see his plans to gather a team of wizards. The team includes Eddie Redmayne’s character, Newt Scamander, who was the focus in the first two movies. The film also features actors Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, William Nadylam, and more. Dumbledore and Mikkelsen can also be seen dueling in the latest trailer which is what fans have been waiting for.
Muggles and wizards alike will have to wait until the movie releases in theaters on April 15th to see what unfolds between Dumbledore and Grindelwald.
