2016 – Selena Gomez gets her triple threat recognition
Selena Gomez has been stealing our hearts since she made her onscreen debut in 2002 on Barney & Friends. As she matured, she ventured into the music industry and became what everyone wishes they were: a triple threat. iHeartRadio took note of that and presented her with the Triple Threat Award in 2016 for her singing, dancing and acting. That year, Gomez released three films: The Fundamentals of Caring, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and In Dubious Battle. She had also released her second solo album, Revival, at the end of 2015 and was dominating with the single “Hands to Myself.”
