The iHeartRadio Music Awards are finally upon us again. With the actually awards show being cancelled last year due to COVID-19, the event is back live and in person with Usher hosting from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on May 27.
With seven nominations each, Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch lead the nominations that feature all of our favorite performers like BTS, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift. We do lose fan favorite award “Best Tour of the Year” due to there not being concerts last year, but a new award was added, which will no doubt be a new fan favorite: “TikTok Bop of the Year.”
Elton John will also be honored with the second ever iHeartRadio Icon Award, which was introduced in 2018 when Bon Jovi was named the first recipient. John will be performing live and it is sure to feature many of his greatest hits, while Dan + Shay, Doja Cat, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak of Silk Sonic, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande and Usher will also take the stage to sing some of their biggest hits.
Fox will broadcast the show live beginning at 8 p.m. ET and it can also be caught on other streaming platforms like fuboTV and AT&T TV.
