The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins battled in one of the most competitive games of the season as the Bills came out on top 32-29 after Tyler Bass nailed a 25-yard field goal as time expired.
With the win, the Bills moved to 11-3 and clinched a playoff berth, while Miami dropped their third straight game to fall to 8-6.
After back-to-back weeks of struggling, the Dolphins offense came to play against the Bills as the Dolphins jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but the Bills would answer back right away on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Quintin Morris for an early 7-3 lead.
After another Miami field goal, the Bills would add another touchdown via Allen as he threw a 10-yard pass to Nyheim Hines for the 14-6 lead.
The Dolphins would answer back by finally scoring a touchdown on an 11-yard run by Salvon Ahmed; Ahmed had his best game of the season as the three years pro received the most opportunities he has received all season in place of the injured Jeff Wilson Jr. and finished the contest with 43 yards and the one touchdown on six carries.
Speaking of running backs, Raheem Mostert also had a terrific game for Miami, finishing with 136 yards on 17 carries.
Buffalo would answer back on Allen’s third touchdown pass of the half as time expired on a four-yard strike to James Cook; Allen had an unbelievable performance, finishing 304 yards and four touchdowns to go along with 77 rushing yards on ten attempts. So, the Bills would take a 21-13 lead into the half.
The Dolphins answer would finally heat up in the second half, along with a terrific third-quarter performance by their defense as Miami would outscore Buffalo 13-0 in the third quarter on two incredible touchdown passes from Tua Tagovailoa, one to Jaylen Waddle for a 67-yard score and the other to Tyreek Hill on a perfect 20-yard pass.
With that said, Miami’s dominant third quarter was quickly answered back as Buffalo would come back after being down 26-21 to begin the final period of regulation of pick up their eleventh win of the season. Allen added a fourth touchdown pass on a 5-yard pass to Dawson Knox, followed by a perfect final drive of the game that would lead Tyler Bass to make the game-winning field goal.

These AFC East rivals are now 1-1 against each other this season and this final matchup of the regular season has Dolphins fans wanting a rematch in the postseason.
The Bills will look for another win on the road in Chicago for a Christmas Eve meeting with the Bears.
The Dolphins will look to get back into the win column on Christmas Day as they play host to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
