New Music Friday: Jonas Brothers’ 1970s-Inspired Project “The Album” Is Sure to Be This Summer’s Ultimate Soundtrack

After months and months of waiting on the edge of our seats, The Album is finally here!

With the release of the Jonas Brothers‘ highly-anticipated project as a part of this week’s New Music Friday, it is clear we have discovered this summer’s ultimate soundtrack ☀️

Featuring 1970s-inspired tracks like “Wings” and “Waffle House,” The Album serves as a much groovier follow-up to their 2019 comeback project, Happiness Begins.

After just one listen, it is clear that Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas are madly in love this time around, with the album essentially serving as a tribute to their respective wives: Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra. There are even some references to their children throughout the 12-song tracklist, especially within “Little Bird.”

In an exclusive interview with Variety, Nick Jonas revealed that “Little Bird” is one of his favorite tracks on The Album, revealing that it is “a song about parenthood that will affect people in different ways.”

To make The Album extra special, the entire project is executive produced by the legendary Jon Bellion, who even makes an appearance on the closing track, “Walls” — From top to bottom, The Album is truly a must-listen!
