The Full ‘Descendants: Wicked Wonderland’ Trailer Just Dropped and It Features a New Villain Anthem You’ll Have on Repeat

Attention all VKs, Core OGs, and Wonderland residents: If you thought the teaser had you hooked, you better brace yourselves. The official full-length trailer for Descendants: Wicked Wonderland just made its grand debut on Good Morning America, and it is officially time to lose your minds.

Not only are we getting a closer look at the time-bending madness waiting for us on Thursday, July 16 on Disney Channel (and streaming the next day on Disney+), but Disney also just unleashed a brand-new villain anthem that is about to completely dominate your playlists.

Check out the spellbinding official trailer below and get ready to tumble right back down the rabbit hole:

If there is one thing the Descendants franchise always delivers on, it’s a villain song that absolutely slaps. Following the massive success of their early single “Perfect Princess” — which racked up over 12.36 million impressions in just five days —Disney has officially dropped “Mad-Wicked Wonderland.” It’s a dark, high-energy anthem that perfectly sets the stage for the trouble brewing in the kingdom.

You can stream the new track right now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music. And trust us, you’ll want to pre-save the full Descendants: Wicked Wonderland Original Soundtrack before it drops in its entirety on July 17, because this movie features more brand-new original songs than ever before.

So, what is driving all this musical madness? As we learned from the initial teaser, messing with the fabric of time has completely backfired on Red (Kylie Cantrall) and Chloe (Malia Baker). Maddox Hatter (Leonardo Nam) has officially gone rogue, capturing the Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora) to bend the fate of Wonderland to his own twisted will.

To fix the timeline, Red and Chloe are assembling a fresh squad of legacy kids: Pink (played Liamani Segura); Luis Madrigal (played by Alexandro Byrd); Max Hatter (played by Brendon Tremblay); Hazel Hook (played by Kiara Romero) and Chessy the Cat (voiced by Awkwafina).

The hype for this movie is real, and nobody knows that better than newest cast member Liamani Segura. When Celeb Secrets caught up with her on the red carpet at the American Music Awards (AMAs) in Las Vegas, she couldn’t hide her excitement about introducing Pink to the world — even if joining such a legendary Disney family was a little daunting at first.

“Honestly, it was a little nerve-wracking jumping in, only because, you know, these franchises are so loved and respected already,” Liamani exclusively told Celeb Secrets. “So I think we had really big shoes to fill. But I think we did a really great job, and the dancing, the music, like, it just feels so nostalgic, and I think the fans are really going to love it. Like, it’s so good.”

With Muppets Mayhem director Kimmy Gatewood calling the shots and Emmy-winning choreographer Emilio Dosal (Wicked) crafting the dance sequences, that signature nostalgic magic is definitely locked in.

And if you think the on-screen action looks wild, Liamani told us the late-night shoots were just as unhinged, recalling a hilarious mishap with co-star Dayton Paradis.

“There was one time when we were literally filming and it was so late at night, and me and my costar Dayton, we would always be clowning around on set and stuff,” she laughed. “And I remember there was, like, a teapot part, and he literally, like, didn’t think there was any liquid in it, and he poured it on his entire head and had to get his entire costume, like, redone! It was so hilarious.”

The summer movie premiere is just the beginning of a massive year for the Descendants universe. If you were lucky enough to catch the sold-out “Worlds Collide Tour” across North America last year, get ready for round two.

The Worlds Collide Concert Tour is officially returning in Fall 2026, and it is going to be an epic crossover event featuring the biggest stars from Descendants, ZOMBIES, and Camp Rock. Liamani herself teased her packed schedule to us, saying, “We’re going on tour this fall! So it’s gonna be a crazy summer, but it’s gonna be filled with fun things… it’s a blast.”

The massive 49-arena tour will hit the U.S., Canada, and Mexico before heading over to the U.K. and Europe in 2027. You’ll get to see Liamani alongside Malachi Barton, Dara Reneé, Mekonnen Knife, and the rest of the talented new crew live on stage. Tickets are already on sale at WorldsCollideTour.com, so don’t wait!

Between a darker, song-filled trip through Wonderland, brand-new Mattel doll lines on the way, and a massive arena tour on the horizon, the Descendants phenomenon is bigger than ever. Listen to “Mad-Wicked Wonderland” below and don’t forget to let us know if you’re loving the song by either leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post or by sliding into our DMs on Instagram at @celebsecrets
