Country music queen Kelsea Ballerini is revealing her side of the story on the newest episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper.
The 29-year-old “half of my hometown” singer spilled some tea regarding her divorce from Morgan Evans while sharing some never heard deets about her current romantic relationship with Outer Banks heartthrob Chase Stokes.

Ballerini and Stokes were spotted holding hands at Georgia‘s 65-7 College Football National Championship victory over TCU in January, as reported here on Celeb Secrets. Since then, the two have tagged each other in some posts on Instagram but have not had an “official couple post”; this interview should have their stans feeling good right now.
Ballerini started by revealing that she was the one to initiate the first conversation between the stars. Ballerini revealed that she DMed Stokes on Instagram after the pair had begun following each other. “I was ready to open back up, I just felt, why not?” Ballerini told Cooper. When asked by Cooper what her initial message to Stokes was, Ballerini said, “His handle is ‘@hichasestokes,’ and I said, ‘Hi, Chase Stokes.’ ”
It also turns out that Ballerini had never watched an episode of Outer Banks, “I’ve never seen his show, but I just knew of him, and I just swan dove right on in,” said Ballerini.
In addition to opening up about her new relationship, the 29-year-old went in depth about her previous marriage with country singer Morgan Evans, saying, “I think he loved me more at 23 and I love me more at 29.”
