Just over a year after Fifth Harmony officially went on an indefinite hiatus, Normani made a stunning solo debut at the VMAs performing her hit single “Motivation.”
Keeping with the spirit of the music video, her choreography in a basketball-themed performance made the audience go crazy. Not only did she keep up with her back-up dancers, but her dance break showed her twerking, doing the splits and a backwards cartwheel.
In the audience, Lizzo, Hailee Steinfeld and Sophie Turner were amongst the many going crazy for her, and we can honestly say they were not alone.
