2011: Beyoncé’s Pregnancy Shocker
Talk about a pregnancy announcement! We never expect Beyoncé to do anything less than slay us with her performances and that’s just what she did when performing “Love on Top” at the 2011 VMAs.
After killing the crazy number of key changes that the song has, Beyoncé literally dropped her mic and undid her sequined jacket to reveal that she was pregnant. Kanye West was then shown cheering on father-to-be Jay-Z as the crowd went wild with excitement.
Blue Ivy Carter was born in January of 2012 and is following in the successful shoes of her parents. At nine years old, she became the second youngest person ever to win a Grammy Award.
