Does One Direction ever feel like a fever dream to anyone else? Though they were together for six years, the boys have become so successful on their own that it is sometimes hard to imagine them as a group.
However, they made their mark on us when they had their first VMA appearance in 2012 performing “One Thing.” Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson performed to a legion of screaming Directioners and took home three awards, including “Best New Artist.”
