For starters, Nate Smith and HARDY have teamed up for “Nobody Likes Your Girlfriend,” a brutally honest (but way too catchy) anthem for anyone who’s ever desperately wished their best friend would ditch their toxic ex. HARDY revealed that he wrote the song a few years back and always believed in it, so he shot his shot with Smith, who immediately hopped on board. “When you got that buddy that’s dating that person he shouldn’t be in a relationship with, and it needs to be said,” Smith explained. And trust us — this track says it all.
Speaking of major releases, Chase Matthew just dropped his most personal project yet: CHASE. The rising Warner Music Nashville star describes the album as a full-circle moment, explaining, “My life is a chase. My goals are a chase.” With 13 tracks that blend hard-hitting bangers with raw, emotional songwriting, Matthew’s vision shines through — especially on “WAITING ON YOU TO CALL,” which he wrote solo, and “HEART HALF EMPTY,” his stunning duet with Lauren Alaina.
And if you’re in the mood for pure heartbreak wrapped in a killer duet, Big Loud’s powerhouse country songstress Ashley Cooke just teamed up with global superstar Joe Jonas for “all i forgot.” This emotional gut-punch blends Cooke’s signature warmth with Jonas’ smooth pop charm, capturing the kind of heartbreak that even the strongest pour can’t erase. “Creating this song with Joe was an experience I’ll never forget,” Cooke shares. “This one goes out to anyone who has felt the sting of heartbreak.”
