You cannot deny that Daniel Kaluuya is shaping up to be one of the defining actors of our generation. After a Best Actor nomination for Get Out in 2018, he won for Best Supporting Actor for playing Black Panther Party leader Fred Hampton in Judas and the Black Messiah.
His entire speech was a vibe, especially when he said he was going to party after the awards.
But the best moment came when speaking about his mom. Though Kaluuya accepted the award in Los Angeles, his mom and sister were proudly watching on from the British Film Institute in London.
“My mom, my dad, they had sex,” he shocked everyone with. “It’s amazing, you know what I’m saying? I’m here.”
Between watching his sister let her head fall into her hands and mom trying to figure out why her sex life was being brought up on an international platform, this was hands down the best family moment of the night.
