You definitely know the Mission: Impossible film series since they are still making movies today. Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames have been in all six of the films and will continue to be in the next two planned entries, which will premiere in 2022 and 2023.
The original film was a continuation of the 1966 and 1988 television series and followed Cruise’s Ethan Hunt as he tries to uncover the mole that framed him for the murders of his Impossible Missions Force team.
Raking in over $3.5 billion worldwide (the original was the third highest-grossing film of 1996 with over $450 million at the box office), the film series has been able to bring in some heavy-hitting names, including Angela Bassett, Anthony Hopkins, Laurence Fishburne and Vanessa Kirby.
