2020: Someone give Bong Joon-ho a drink
Bong Joon-ho had no idea what was in store for his film Parasite when he arrived to the 92nd Academy Awards. First, he was awarded Best Original Screenplay, then won Best International Feature Film (the newly renamed Best Foreign Language Film award), then Best Director and to top it all off, the film won Best Picture at the end of the night becoming the first non-English language film to win. After his second award, he said he was ready to drink, so we can only guess how he felt – and how much he drank – by the end of the night.
