1986: Kermit and Scooter have trouble opening the envelope
Muppets Kermit the Frog and Scooter were presenting the award for Best Animated Short Film and speaking about how animation can do anything. Well, they had to backtrack that statement a bit when Scooter realized that he could not physically open the envelope. After Statler and Waldorf heckled them a bit, Muppets creator Jim Henson came to save the day and finished presenting the award.
