1959: Joan Collins, Angela Lansbury and Dana Wynter celebrate NOT being nominated

British actresses Joan Collins, Angela Lansbury and Dana Wynter poke fun at Americans and sing “It’s Great Not to Be Nominated” during the 31st Academy Awards. They call out Best Actress nominees Susan Hayward, Shirley MacLaine and Rosalind Russell, but it seems that only MacLaine can take the joke. Hayward would go on to win that night while Collins and Wynter were never nominated. Lansbury was nominated three times in her career and lost them all but was given an honorary award in 2013.
