2007: Ellen keeps the venue tidy
Hosts are put under an enormous amount of pressure, but one task Ellen DeGeneres did not think she would have been undertaking was vacuuming the carpet. After a commercial break, the camera shows DeGeneres doing just that. She makes Meryl Streep, Ryan Gosling and Penelope Cruz lift their feet (and Penelope’s enormous dress) in order to keep the venue presentable.
